Combined transport is at a turning point. After years of growing challenges, the system's performance is at risk of eroding – with consequences for climate protection, security of supply and competitiveness. The ‘Save Combined Transport’ initiative was launched by Hupac, TX Logistik and Kombiverkehr to give the industry a common voice. It sees itself as an open platform for companies, associations and partners who are committed to reliable framework conditions, functioning infrastructure and fair competition in rail freight transport.

The aim is to secure combined transport as the backbone of sustainable logistics – through constructive dialogue with politicians and authorities, through fact-based arguments and through the cohesion of an entire industry.
